WORSHIP WELCOME WITNESS

Because life in a fallen world is impossible alone,
we gather together to taste and see God’s goodness.

We were made for this—communal life characterized by love and mercy, shown first to us by Christ and now declared by us through Christ to our neighbors.

We desired that all feel able to breathe here. The information below will help you know what to expect while you’re with us.

Some people you’ll meet—

  • mattpatrick@allsaintshsv.com

Matt studied English at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) and theology at Covenant Theological Seminary at St. Louis. Prior to moving back to Huntsville to plant All Saints, he served as campus minister with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Wofford College. Matt married Ivy in 2012 and together they have two daughters, Annie (2021) and Margaret (2022). Matt would love to grab coffee or lunch with you!

  • maddie@allsaintshsv.com

Maddie met her husband, Philip, at Auburn University while studying public relations and business. Together they have one daughter, Annie (2023). Maddie would love answer your questions and/or to hear all of your ideas for making All Saints a hospitable place!

How it will feel—

Our Sunday worship services are liturgical, as we long for our minds, hearts, and bodies to be shaped by and oriented toward loving God and serving our neighbors. We also long for Sundays at All Saints to feel accessible and welcoming to newcomers.

Our time together feels transcendent as we worship our Triune God who is Lord over all history, and yet warm and unintimidating as we delight in his love for and nearness even to us.

We’re a new community hopeful to be driven by “less adrenaline, more love”. Eugene Peterson coined this phrase to describe a church planting process characterized by the prayerful posture of its people and their dependence on the Lord to build, move, and gather.

How we’ll care for your kids—

Children (AKA, Small Saints) are optionally dismissed from the regular service just before the sermon to be escorted downstairs by parents and then cared for by childcare employees and All Saints volunteers. They enjoy play time, snacks, and children’s Bible reading.

They’re also more than welcome to remain in the regular service with parents, no matter their age!

What to do next—

Visit a small group!

All Saints small groups are one of the important doors to life at All Saints for newcomers. Each group gathering includes a combination of fellowship, food, Scripture, and song. They are safe, supportive micro-communities in which folks can engage the claims of Christ and, in doing so, develop deep and honest relationships with one another.
